Theatre Workshops for All Ages
The UP Studio provides workshop opportunities for students of all ages and focuses on specific skills and interests. Workshop programming will vary from season to season and trimester to trimester, covering a broad range of topics from audition preparation and monologue studies to props creation and dance & movement.
The UP Studio allows students to take workshops of specific interests without the commitment to long-term study found in the Academy. Check back here periodically to see what is UP and coming in our Studio lineup!
February Break Kids Theatre Camp - Youth Ages 5-12
Theatre UP Youth Program Director Madalyn Sheehy was excited to bring a Kids Theatre Camp to the Littleton Opera House over February Break! Youth ages 5-12 spent the week with UP staff and performed "Winnie the Pooh KIDS" on Friday for families and friends. It was a wonderful week for everyone! Save the date for February 2027, as we will be offering this program again.

3:30-4:30 • Ages 6-10
Big Voice, Bold Moves
Jump, twist, and leap into adventure in this lively theatre class! Young performers will discover their loud-and-proud voices—learning how to project, speak clearly, and play with volume and expression—while exploring big, bold movements through fun games, imaginative storytelling, and character play. From giant stomps to tiny tiptoes, students will build confidence, creativity,and stage presence in a fun and supportive space.
5:00-6:30 • Ages 11-14
Move & Speak Theatre
Step into bold, physical storytelling in this high-energy theatre class for emerging performers. Students will train their voices and bodies to work together—building projection, vocal variety, and dynamic movement through ensemble games, character work, and physical theatre.
Designed for all experience levels, this class encourages creative risk-taking, collaboration, and confident stage presence in a fun, supportive environment where performers learn to truly own the stage.
5:00-7:00 • Ages 13-18
Scene Study Master Class
Dive into scene exploration and performance with our Winter Scene Study Class! Instructor Andrew Lidestri will lead students through a course that will explore working with a scene partner and develop skills needed to be present in a scene with another person.
