THE ACADEMY
The Academy offers students the opportunity for a more intensive course of study in theatre arts, focusing on acting and important theatrical fundamentals with classes that provide training to support varied levels of skills and experience.
THE STUDIO
The Studio provides workshop opportunities for students of all ages and focus on specific skills and interests. Workshop programming will vary from season to season, and students may be grouped according to age, interest, or skill level depending on the offering.

Learn to act from expert instructors with extensive performing arts industry experience. Whether you’re looking to improve your theatre skills or preparing for a college theatre program, you’ll love the guidance you get from the UP Education Team. Our mission is to provide an intensive study in a supportive and inclusive environment where students can advance their artistic potential. Through weekly classes, we aim to inspire self-expression, cultivate discipline, and build a lifelong love for the arts. Youth Program Director Madalyn Sheehy was excited to bring a
Theatre Camp to the Littleton Opera House over Feb Break! They spent the week with UP staff and performed on Friday for families and friends. Save the date for February 2027, as we will be offering this
program again.
LEARN SKILLS FOR LIFE
Whether choosing a life in the theatre or any career path, soft skill development contributes to a successful life. From collaboration to communication and emotional intelligence to self-confidence, these skills play a significant role in determining an individual’s success and happiness. Although several tools and processes are used for this training, none are as effective as an education in theatre.
