Come one, come all! Thou hast been respectfully summoned to audition for The Upstage Players' performance of "Romeo & Juliet."
Actors are asked to prepare a 1 minute monologue or poem from classical theatre repertoire. You may be asked to read from a script.
Part of the rehearsal process will include understanding and interpreting Shakespeare. Actors will be taught priniples of stage combat.
Auditions are Wednesday, Aug. 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. Callbacks may be held Aug. 27 following auditions.
We will perform Nov. 10, 11, 12,17, 18, and 19 at the Littleton Opera House.
