Youth Workshops
THEATRE 101
Ages 4-17
Saturday, October 26th

Littleton Opera House - 2 Union Street, Littleton
Tuition: $25
Theatre 101 is a fun opportunity for students to experience all of the elements that go into creating a theatrical production in only 3 hours!
From "auditions" to a final presentation of a mini play, students will learn what being in a show is all about!
Full of theatrical terminology, games, and hands-on exercises in design, stage management, and performance, Theatre 101 will prepare students to walk powerfully into a new production process with knowledge and confidence.

TELLING STORIES FROM THE STAGE
Ages 8-16

Tuition: $35
For over 2,000 years, humans have used theatre as a way to tell stories and pass along our history. In this workshop, students will learn how to take stories and translate them into dramatic interpretation for the stage, breaking down the elements that make a story resonate with an audience through the rise and fall of action. Students are encouraged to bring a favorite story book to work with for the class!

Teen & Adult Workshops
AUDITIONING FOR MUSICAL THEATRE
Ages 16 & UP
Saturday, November 23rd

Tuition: $45
Minimum Enrollment: 5
In this 4 hour workshop, students will learn how to select and prepare songs to bring to musical theatre auditions. Students will begin to build their audition books, the most valuable tool for anyone wanting to audition for musicals. This workshop will include a mock audition and the opportunity to work with a collaborative pianist. Students will leave the workshop with two audition pieces in their audition book, ready to go for their next audition!

ADULT SCENE STUDY
Ages 18 & UP
Saturday, December 7th

Masonic Temple - 137 Main Street, Littleton
Tuition: $55
Minimum Enrollment: 4
Maximum Enrollment: 10
This intensive day-long workshop will allow students to hone their acting abilities by working with a scene partner and instructor developing a character, rehearsing and presenting a scene. This class will include one mandatory zoom meeting with the instructor and your assigned scene partner prior to the workshop. You will also be required to have at least one hour-long rehearsal with your scene partner before the workshop. Have a friend you want to do a scene with? Register and let us know you would like to be paired together! Limited class size, and the only scene study offered this fall. Don't miss out!
